Purchasing Assistant

When Pirita Levasmaa started her role as a Purchasing Assistant, Orfer was not yet the company it is today. "Here, employees’ voices are truly heard, and suggestions for improvement are treated with genuine appreciation. When a good idea emerges, action is taken quickly to move it forward. Solutions are developed collaboratively, always with the goal of finding an approach that benefits everyone — not just from a process or business perspective, but also by improving the everyday experience of employees," Pirita explained.

I have also developed in my role and, as a result, have been eager to take on more responsibility.

“My current duties include recording order confirmations, delivery monitoring, purchasing, processing material lists received from mechanical design, as well as coordinating parcel shipments and transport. This allows me to work on a wide variety of tasks in collaboration with different teams.”

“Although our team is tightly knit and communicative, I still actively stay in touch with other colleagues as well. Sometimes there might be a break in communication, but we often catch up via Teams, for example.”
